New Moderator Positions Now Open

Needed: Two Moderators for the Galactic Empire Realm, two Moderators for the Black Sun Realm, one Moderator for the Rebel Alliance Realm. Global Moderator for the entire site.

Qualifications: Applicants must have over ten posts and an approved character bio on file. An understanding of the rules, guidelines, and expectations of the forum and your specific realm are required. Previous mod/admin experience is recommended but not required for the Moderator position. Past experience is required for the Global Mod

Duties: Moderators must visit the forum a minimum of four days a week spending enough time to briefly monitor the activities in your specific realm (if you are an Empire member, you monitor the Empire Realm). You will be given powers to modify and delete posts, but these powers must not be abused. Character Moderating: Approve/edit/disprove character bios when the admins are not available. Make sure the character bios are unique, detailed, have proper grammar/punctuation/spelling, and aren't off-the-wall. Help them improve their bios when needed and direct them to the beginner's board if they need it. RP Moderating: Make sure those rping have approved character bios. If not, point them in the right direction. If they are having troubles making lengthy posts, point them in the direction of the beginner's board. Make sure they follow all site rules including, but not limited to: posts above 300 characters, no foul language, no double posting. Let them know nicely if they are violating and try to help them in any way possible. Let me know about repeat offenders. Realm Moderating: Report to me any activity that violates rules, or seems questionable. Handle problems with the board and help manage the realm. Welcome members and makes them feel at home.

Global Moderator Duties: All of the above as it applies to the entire site. Basically my right-hand who will help me keep an eye on things when I get swamped. <<Iaana edit: Global Mod position filled.>>

How to apply: Send me a PM with subject line "Mod Application" or "Global Mod Application". State which realm you wish to moderate, reasons for applying for the position, past experience (with link to site and user name), qualities that would make you a good mod, and any other information you think relevant.
